Trust Me
“Trust is knowing I can put my darkest fears and secrets in the palm of my partner’s hand, knowing they will be treated with care”.
Trust Me is a contemporary dance performance based on testing limits with balance and trust.The piece is choreographed in a confined space and in elevation, in order to allow dancers to manipulate and guide each other through movement having one of them with their eyes closed. The concept then consolidates to a point where at the end the dancers are so confident and strong with their sense of balance that they both manage to dance simultaneously blind folded on a 2m by 2 m elevated platform, thus portraying a dance development where the audience witnesses differences in stance and control when vision is impaired.
