MOVEO JUNIOR COMPANY is a year long course primarily aimed at preparing and exposing its members to performances and choreographies created by dance professionals from all over Europe. Unlike Moveo Training Program, members of the Junior Company will be offered opportunities to perform for local festivals, participate in dance courses and be provided with their own portfolio with a professional photoshoot and showreel included. This will help them prepare should they wish to audition for schools overseas.
The minimum age required to audition for the Junior Company is 14 as we strongly believe dancers should have already gained maturity in order to be able to handle the pressures of the professional dance world.
Please note that the Moveo Junior Company is NOT a dance school but focuses on giving its members the chance to perform along side Moveo's main company. In order to be eligible for the Junior Company, members must be in training in a local dance school.
Auditions for Moveo Junior Company will be held on Monday 10th July 2023.
Current performance dates:
Junior Company dates - rehearsals every Thursday (time to be confirmed)
Term 1 - 5 October 2023 - 10 December 2023
Term 2 - 11 January 2024 - 23 March 2024
Term 3 - 11 April 2024 - 6 June 2024
For the last two sessions of the year, the teachers will hold a PERFORMANCE REVIEW for the members to watch their own performances and develop a critical eye.
The fee for each term is €170 with total of three terms per scholastic year.
Kindly note that no extra cost will be incurred during the year for performances.
