SILENCED
Silenced explores the fragility of freedom of expression and the universal human need to be heard. The performance delves into the tension between silence and expression, vulnerability and resilience. As the boundaries between the inner and outer self begin to blur, Silenced invites audiences to reflect on the invisible forces that suppress identity, voice and emotion, while celebrating the courage it takes to reclaim them. Poignant, visceral and deeply human, the work is a reminder that freedom of expression is never guaranteed, and that even in our quietest moments, the desire to be heard endures.
Invited to MASDANZA 2025, Silenced presents a choreographic investigation into the possibilities of movement as a voice, exploring the journey from confinement towards self-expression.
