KINETIC WAVES
Kinetic Waves is a multi-sensory dance and technology installation created and choreographed by Patsy Chetcuti.
Inspired by the mathematical beauty of the golden ratio and the Fibonacci sequence, the work explores the relationship between movement, sound, light, and space where the choreography becomes a driving force that shapes not only the dancers’ bodies, but also the surrounding technology.
The performance creates a direct interaction between dancers and their environment, where movement generates and influences sound and light in real time. Through the manipulation of objects and responsive technology, the performers become both dancers and creators of the sensory landscape, transforming the stage into an evolving kinetic installation.
Kinetic Waves invites audiences into a physical and visual journey where human movement, digital elements, and artistic expression merge, exploring the connection between the body and the systems that surround us.
